Wichita, Kansas – Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care (Thrive SPC), a national provider of clinical home care for medically fragile children, has acquired the pediatric business of Accessible Home Care (Accessible). Accessible will continue to provide adult home health care.

“Accessible has an excellent reputation for providing high quality home care to Kansas families, which is why it caught our attention as we looked to expand there,” said Greg Serrao, founder of Thrive SPC.

“Thrive SPC’s singular focus on pediatric care allows us to provide comprehensive service and support to the children and families who previously received care from Accessible. Also, this acquisition allows us to increase our geographic presence and serve more families in Kansas as we add new locations, including Independence and Salina.”

Thrive SPC’s purpose is to provide high quality clinical home care to medically fragile children so they can grow and flourish to their full potential. Founded in 2016, its goal is to be the provider of choice for parents, doctors, and referral sources, as well as the employer of choice for in-home clinical care providers, per Serrao.

“We are excited to have the nurses from Accessible join our team and very honored to welcome its pediatric patients and families to the Thrive family,” said Serrao. “Our compassionate commitment to clinical excellence and our dedicated team will provide a smooth transition for these children, allowing them to continue to grow and flourish to their full potential.”

Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care also provides care and services in Arizona, Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Its services also include occupational, speech, and physical therapies; respiratory therapy, enteral nutrition, and in-home durable medical equipment and services in some locations. Thrive SPC intends to provide the full complement of pediatric services and equipment at all its locations over time.
