Wakefield, Massachusetts – On November 1, 2016, Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care acquired Encompass Pediatric, a leading provider of pediatric health care services. Encompass Pediatric has a long-standing reputation for providing high quality home care to pediatric patients. The addition of Encompass Pediatric enables Thrive SPC to extend its service offering into Texas and Kansas. The acquisition enables Encompass Pediatrics to be part of an organization whose sole focus is on delivering the highest quality home care specifically for pediatric patients and their families.

Encompass Pediatric will immediately begin offering its services under the Thrive SPC brand name. “The addition of Encompass Pediatric to the growing Thrive SPC brand is a good fit in terms of culture and process, and allows us to extend our service offering into these two new geographies,” said Greg Serrao, President and CEO.

All Encompass Pediatric employees will be retained by Thrive SPC to ensure patients and families continue to receive the same high level of care from their current caregivers.

As one of the nation’s premier pediatric home health care companies, Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care provides care to children who most need it, in the place that is best for them and their families – their home. It offers a full range of clinical home care services and a collaborative approach to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care for the best possible outcomes. Thrive SPC operates on a fundamental core purpose: to provide high quality home care to medically fragile children so they can grow and flourish to their full potential.
