Special Care Services in Scottsdale, Arizona

Have you been the caregiver to a medically-fragile child in your family? If you live in Scottsdale, Arizona and require specialized care services, you may be eligible for training to become a Licensed Health Aide (LHA). This program provides training to qualified family caregivers to become licensed and paid to provide some skilled care.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, family caregivers are trained in skilled care essential to a medically fragile child’s needs. This includes bathing, grooming, medication administration, G-Tube feeding, motion exercises, and more to children ages 21 or younger. Thrive SPC will train and pay you to be part of your child’s care team at home. This benefits both your child and you, as they receive 1:1 care from a trusted family member while you receive income for the trained skills you provide to their care team.

I have been blessed to work with so many wonderful families and incredible pediatric patients in my journey as a nurse, and they continue to amaze me every day. I have loved my experience as both a homecare nurse in the field and as a clinical supervisor at Thrive SPC!
