Onboarding Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist/Customer Service Professional to join our team in our Raleigh, NC location. This role performs an array of administrative support for the day-to-day operations of our business, including the onboarding of new hires, compliance and policy/procedure administration and general office support. This is an exciting entry level role offering training and advancement opportunities for the right candidate. In addition to an attractive salary, this role pays bi-weekly bonuses based upon specific staffing goals achieved.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with 2-3 years’ experience in an office environment while managing confidential information.
  • Must be organized with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and be able to multitask while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.  Must be adept at communication with a broad range of individuals and possess excellent customer service skills.  Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).  Experience with HRIS software packages preferred.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate on-site job interviews with candidates. Track applicants through recruitment process. Track and process employee referrals. Process offer letters. Prepare New Hire Orientation packets.
  • Participates in new hire orientation; collects and reviews new hire paperwork and required substantiating documentation; follows-up with employees as required.  Process all pre-employment screenings and ensures completion of screening prior to the hire. 
  • Process all paperwork related to new hires, status changes, and terminations. Assist with annual open enrollment activities.
  • Gathers and documents annual credentialing requirements for our licensed caregivers.
  • Provides administrative support to the office.
